Responsibilities

Region Health

Own the regional health assessment. Integrate authoritative capacity, demand, design, service-readiness, and adoption signals into an evidence-backed view of whether each region can serve its intended workloads and support planned growth. Make data confidence, conflicting signals, and emerging risks explicit.

Find the constraints behind the numbers. Distinguish installed capacity from capacity available for sale and capacity customers can actually deploy and use. Investigate availability-zone imbalances, service and product-configuration gaps, power availability, and deployment bottlenecks. Assess both capacity shortages and stranded capacity, and evaluate adoption against agreed business-case assumptions.

Develop decision-ready mitigation options. Work with technical and business partners to evaluate supply acceleration, restoration of power availability, demand shaping, alternative workload placement, and prioritization. Recommend a path that accounts for customer commitments, business impact, technical feasibility, data residency, capacity substitutability, and deployment throughput.

Drive accountable recovery. Convert material risks into agreed plans with named owners, milestones, dependencies, decision points, and measurable exit criteria. Resolve cross-team blockers and escalate decisions with clear recommendations. Validate recovery through evidence that customers can use the capacity and services they need.

Connect regional execution to portfolio strategy. Build regional outlooks and scenarios with planning partners, considering connected regions and their dependencies. Translate longer-range risks into timely decisions that improve launch readiness, sustained adoption, and future growth.

Strengthen the operating model. Maintain trusted health signals, decision records, actions, and recovery evidence in shared systems of record. Deliver concise updates through established operating and planning forums. Improve assessment methods and repeatable practices so lessons from one region strengthen the next
