Your day-to-day activities will involve reviewing procedures for compliance, identifying control gaps, developing new inspection items tailored to emerging risks, and following up on corrective actions. You will also play a key role in maintaining strong stakeholder relationships—both internally within various departments and externally with partners—to ensure seamless communication.

In addition to supporting risk profile management through operational controls, you will assist with procedural updates aligned with regulatory requirements. Preparing detailed reports and presentations forms part of your remit as you share insights with management. Success in this role requires attention to detail, reliability in completing tasks on schedule, proactive engagement with colleagues during user discussions or process revamps, and a commitment to continuous learning about industry developments.

Perform self-inspections according to procedures and guidelines established by Head Office, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy in all assessments.

Develop ad hoc inspection items aimed at strengthening operational controls and addressing potential risks not covered by standard inspections.

Review operations and procedures regularly to ensure full compliance with internal rules, operating instructions, manuals, and circulars.

Identify weaknesses, deficiencies, irregularities, and control gaps during inspections, reporting findings promptly to Management for action.

Follow up on inspection findings by reviewing corrective actions taken by relevant departments to ensure issues are resolved effectively.

Monitor the inspection schedule closely to guarantee that all self-inspection items are completed accurately and within designated timelines.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders both within the organisation and with external parties to facilitate effective communication and cooperation.

Support the management of departmental risk profiles by contributing to operational controls and risk mitigation strategies.

Assist in developing and updating procedures so they remain compliant with applicable regulations and internal requirements.

Prepare ad hoc departmental reports and presentations that clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and progress updates.

Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends, banking products, laws, regulations, and best practices relevant to the department's activities.

Adhere strictly to all company policies and guidelines while carrying out daily responsibilities.
