We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking, and results-driven Comptroller to lead our accounting operations and help shape the financial future of our growing healthcare organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you'll serve as a trusted financial leader, partnering with executive leadership to strengthen financial performance, drive operational excellence, and support strategic growth.

What You'll Do As our Comptroller, you'll have the opportunity to: Shape Financial Strategy: Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis to support informed business decisions. Drive Financial Excellence: Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, monthly close processes, and GAAP compliance. Turn Data into Action: Identify financial trends, evaluate performance, and deliver actionable recommendations to executive leadership.

Strengthen Financial Integrity: Maintain effective internal controls, financial policies, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance. Support Organizational Growth: Develop financial models and analyses for new clinics, programs, service lines, and strategic investments. Lead and Inspire: Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team while promoting accountability and continuous improvement. Champion Innovation: Improve financial systems, streamline processes, and identify opportunities for greater efficiency.

What You'll Bring We're looking for a hands-on financial leader who combines technical expertise with strategic thinking, strong business acumen, and exceptional leadership skills. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience . Minimum 3 years of accounting leadership or supervisory experience . Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.

Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and ERP/accounting systems experience. Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications CPA designation or active CPA candidacy. Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in an FQHC, nonprofit healthcare, or multi-location healthcare organization. Knowledge of HRSA requirements, federal grants, healthcare reimbursement, and 340B financial operations.
