As an Atlassian Administrator reporting to Director of Software Development you'll play a critical role in managing, optimizing, and expanding Nasdaq's Atlassian ecosystem — enabling teams across the organization to work smarter, move faster, and deliver with greater impact.

You'll thrive in this position if you're technically curious, detail-oriented, and energized by building integrations and workflows that connect the tools teams rely on every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and configure Atlassian tools — including Jira, Jira Service Management, and CMDB — to support evolving business and operational needs.
  • Design and maintain automation rules and JQL-based workflows that improve team efficiency and service delivery.
  • Build and manage REST API and webhook integrations connecting Atlassian platforms with third-party tools across the technology ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver scalable platform solutions.
  • Develop and maintain analytics dashboards and reporting capabilities to surface insights that drive informed decision-making.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience administering Atlassian tools, including Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM), and CMDB.
  • Proficiency in JQL and Jira automation for workflow design and configuration.
  • Experience with REST APIs and webhooks to integrate Atlassian platforms with third-party tools such as GitHub, Salesforce, Datadog, and Okta.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams in a collaborative, global environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Atlassian certifications such as ACP-120 (Jira Administration), ACP-620 (Jira Service Management), or ACP-420 (Confluence Administration).
  • Hands-on experience with analytics and reporting tools, such as Power BI.
  • Exposure to enterprise-scale platform environments and global teams.
  • This position will be located in Toronto and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
