A DAY IN THE LIFE …

As the Ocean Hub Data Documentation Team Lead, you will lead the design, deployment, and ongoing delivery of standardized ocean-freight documentation services for markets supported by Nestlé Business Solutions. You will oversee the onboarding of new markets in line with the Ocean Hub roadmap, while ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant shipping documentation across live operations.

Translate the Ocean Hub roadmap into documentation implementation plans for each market and deployment wave.

Lead the gathering and validation of requirements covering document types, business rules, parties, templates, languages, legal obligations, and market-specific needs.

Oversee documentation readiness assessments, testing, go-live support, hypercare, and the transition of newly onboarded markets to steady-state operations.

Define and maintain standardized documentation rules, governance requirements, and market-specific exceptions, including Global Shipping Instructions-related document requirements.

Ensure appropriate approvals, version control, traceability, document retention, and change controls are consistently applied.

Establish clear ownership, boundaries, and handoffs across Documentation, Data Quality, Booking, Transport Monitoring, Ocean Freight Settlement, markets, carriers, and other operational streams.

Ensure the timely and accurate coordination of shipping documents, including Bill of Lading draft and final-document workflows and party-data validation.

Manage documentation exceptions, compliance risks, and escalations in collaboration with markets, carriers, and process owners.

Maintain service continuity and operational visibility throughout market implementations and live operations.

Monitor documentation quality, completeness, timeliness, first-time-right performance, and outstanding work.

Lead root-cause analysis and implement process standardization, automation, and preventive controls to reduce recurring errors and manual rework.

Translate recurring operational issues into improved documentation rules, standard operating procedures, training materials, and knowledge resources.

Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing documentation team, strengthening capability, engagement, knowledge coverage, and succession readiness.

Align markets, carriers, Cargoo, operational stream leads, and Ocean Hub leadership on priorities, risks, dependencies, and implementation requirements.

Develop scalable work instructions, training materials, and knowledge-management practices that support consistent service delivery and continuous improvement.

You have experience managing change initiatives and driving process standardization, automation, and reductions in manual rework.

You demonstrate strong expertise in digital workflows, automation, operational execution, and service delivery within a global environment.

You have strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage priorities, dependencies, risks, and operational escalations.
