The Media Intelligence Manager sits at the intersection of media operations, data, reporting and decision support. The role is accountable for making media data more complete, accurate, usable and actionable, while helping evolve the operating model from report production toward intelligence-led operations.

The role should create leverage for Global and Regional teams: less manual intervention, clearer signals, stronger data confidence and faster translation of information into action.

Core Accountabilities

Media Intelligence Operations

Provide senior oversight of day-to-day intelligence workflows, priorities, service quality, issue resolution and stakeholder responsiveness across the remit.

Data Quality & Governance

Drive standards, QA and exception management across media data, with a focus on completeness, consistency, accuracy and correct application of key metadata and taxonomy.

Reporting & Insights

Oversee recurring reporting, scorecards, performance views, alerts and insight outputs; continuously improve relevance, usability and actionability.

Stakeholder Enablement

Work with Global, Regional and Local teams to understand needs, improve adoption and translate complex data into clear guidance and actions.

Transformation

Lead contribution to future-state intelligence initiatives, including any discovery, requirements, prioritisation, testing and transition planning, while protecting continuity of current services.

Continuous Improvement

Identify recurring pain points, automate repetitive work, improve workflows and feed learnings into product, process and governance roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help lead delivery of priority Media Intelligence workflows across Global and Regional stakeholders, ensuring clear ownership, timing and service standards.
  • Establish and maintain robust data-quality checks, exception processes and issue-resolution routines across media data inputs and reporting workflows
  • Translate business and media requirements into practical reporting, insight and data solutions in partnership with data, technology and product owners.
  • Manage the quality and relevance of scorecards, dashboards, alerts and insight outputs, ensuring they answer real planning, activation and governance questions.
  • Partner with Digital Operations and Governance teams to connect data quality signals to operational actions, including taxonomy, platform setup and campaign governance.
  • Use recurring reporting and stakeholder feedback to identify trends, root causes, recurring exceptions and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Support the development of automation and AI-enabled intelligence use cases where there is a clear business need, measurable benefit and appropriate governance.
  • Contribute to MIQ discovery and future-state design by defining user needs, data requirements, operational dependencies, acceptance criteria and transition considerations.
  • Maintain a structured backlog of intelligence improvements, prioritising work against business impact, user value, operational risk and scalability.

What You Will Bring

Experience in data platforms, reporting infrastructure, cloud architecture, or related technology leadership roles.

An understanding of modern data architectures, cloud platforms and the technologies that underpin data transformation and automation programmes.

An understanding of media investment, marketing technology, reporting platforms, and measurement ecosystems.

A curious, analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex media data into clear conclusions and practical actions.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy, quality, governance and continuous improvement.

The ability to work confidently across Media Operations, Planning, Activation, Marketing Effectiveness, Data and Technology teams.

Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively, simplify complexity and build trust with Global, Regional and Local teams.

A practical approach to problem solving: able to identify root causes, prioritise opportunities and translate requirements into scalable solutions.

An interest in emerging technology, automation and AI, with the judgement to understand where new capabilities can create meaningful business value.

A collaborative and proactive mindset, sharing learnings openly and helping build a consistent Media Intelligence capability across the wider organisation.
