  • Monitor campaign budgets, actualization, and billing activities to ensure alignment between planned investments, in-platform delivery, reported actuals, and client billing.
  • Manage the monthly financial close process, ensuring campaign actuals are accurately reconciled and reported in accordance with client-specific fiscal calendar and billing requirements.
  • Partner with Finance, Investment, and Reconciliation teams to identify discrepancies, resolve financial issues, and maintain accurate reporting across all campaigns.
  • Provide financial oversight and strategic insight to support business decisions impacting both the client and agency.
  • Monitor billing and invoicing timelines for media and fees, proactively identifying potential delays and escalating issues as needed.

Media Investment & Reconciliation

  • Lead recurring campaign actualization and media clearing meetings, coordinating updates across Investment, Media Reconciliation, Finance, and offshore teams.
  • Oversee the clearing process for outstanding media campaigns, ensuring timely reconciliation, compliance, and payment to media partners.
  • Partner with investment teams to monitor campaign delivery and financial data within Prisma, identifying discrepancies or potential issues that require attention or action.
  • Support vendor invoice reconciliation, ensuring invoices align with media delivery, campaign actuals, and internal financial records.
  • Monitor payment timelines and proactively manage outstanding vendor discrepancies, with particular attention to key strategic media partners.
  • Collaborate with offshore teams to ensure accurate campaign actualization, timely issue resolution, and seamless coordination across workstreams.

Reporting, Systems & Process Management

  • Maintain and leverage financial reporting tools and systems, including Prisma, MediaOcean, DDS, Tableau, and internal budget tracking platforms, to ensure accurate and timely campaign reporting.
  • Utilize Tableau dashboards and other reporting tools to validate in-platform investment data against internal financial reports and month-end close documentation.
  • Maintain campaign tracking and reporting deliverables, including Proof of Performance, monthly budget tracking, and recurring financial status updates.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for finance-related systems and process inquiries, providing guidance and troubleshooting support across teams.
  • Drive adoption and compliance with financial processes, operational guidelines, and best practices across account teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiencies.
  • Develop and communicate financial guidelines, templates, and process documentation to support consistency and scalability.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Client Service

  • Build strong working relationships across Media Planning, Integrated Investment, Finance, Media Reconciliation, Project Management, and offshore resources.
  • Serve as a central point of coordination between cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and timely resolution of financial and operational issues.
  • Partner with account leadership and team stakeholders to establish priorities, manage competing deadlines, and maintain consistent client-facing deliverables.
  • Communicate financial updates, risks, and outstanding issues to internal leadership and client stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Provide guidance and subject matter expertise on media finance processes, operational best practices, and client-specific requirements.
  • Support the implementation of new financial processes and initiatives, helping teams navigate change and resolve challenges.
  • 5+ years of experience in media finance, media operations, or financial management within a large media agency environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Required: Hands-on experience with Prisma, including the ability to navigate and monitor campaign investment data, identify discrepancies, and partner with Investment teams to address necessary adjustments.
  • Working knowledge of MediaOcean and familiarity with media billing and financial tracking processes.
  • Experience utilizing Tableau or similar business intelligence platforms to access existing dashboards, analyze data, and monitor campaign performance. Dashboard development is not required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to manage, analyze, and reconcile large datasets.
  • Strong understanding of media investment and campaign financial processes across digital and traditional media channels.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to financial accuracy and data integrity.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot discrepancies, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and offshore teams.
