What You Can Expect

Oracle Transport Management (OTM) Functional Consultant

• The OTM Functional Consultant translates operational business requirements into OTM configurations and solutions, supporting process digitization across
• transportation planning, execution, and settlement. This role bridges functional
• business users and technical teams to ensure successful delivery within the Rhenus 4PL Control Tower.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct requirement-gathering and documentation sessions with business

and operations teams.

• Configure OTM modules for order management, shipment planning,

execution, and freight billing.

• Collaborate with integration teams for EDI (204, 214, 210, 990) flow

validation.

• Support UAT, training, and go-live readiness activities.
• Assist in post-implementation support and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of OTM functional modules and transport processes.
• Knowledge of rate management, routing guides, and carrier setup.
• Familiarity with SQL, OTBI/BI Publisher reporting, and EDI standards.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Experience & Qualifications

• 4–8 years of transport management system experience with minimum 2 OTM projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/IT/Supply Chain; MBA preferred.
• Experience in logistics or shipper-side implementations advantageous.
