Seccl Technology/Software

Senior launch manager

Dublin, Ireland Hybrid Full-time

SENIOR LAUNCH MANAGER Hybrid role based in our Dublin office, with occasional travel to our UK offices as needed ABOUT US Seccl is the Octopus-owned embedded investment platform, on a mission to help more people invest, and invest well. We’re building the infrastructure behind the next generation of investing. Our technology already powers some of the UK’s most ambitious fintechs, banks, financial advisers and wealth firms, with close to a million investors relying on Seccl-powered platforms.

And we’re now expanding into Europe. We’ve got a proven product, strong momentum and big ambitions for what comes next: helping more household-name brands launch and scale investment propositions, entering new markets and replacing outdated investment infrastructure with technology that’s faster, simpler and built for scale. We’re proud to be part of Octopus, one of the UK’s most successful privately held investment and technology groups.

That gives us the backing and long-term perspective to build something substantial, while keeping the pace and energy of a high-growth business. Seccl and Octopus are both B Corp certified and share a belief that profit and purpose should go hand in hand. We’re now expanding into Europe, starting in Ireland. As we build Seccl Ireland, we’re looking for a senior launch manager to play a key role in turning new customer opportunities into successful launches.

Check out the Seccl website https://seccl.tech/ to see what we’re building and read more about our mission https://seccl.tech/about/ to shape the future of investments. THE ROLE As senior launch manager, you’ll own the journey from the early stages of a customer conversation through to onboarding, implementation and migration. You’ll work with fintechs, advice firms, adviser aggregators and larger enterprise businesses, getting under the skin of what they’re trying to build and helping them work out how Seccl can make it happen.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role. You’ll lead workshops, get into the detail of technical integrations, help firms navigate our APIs and operational processes, and keep complex launches moving at pace. You’ll also have plenty of opportunity to shape how we do things. As we build our presence in Ireland, you’ll help identify product and technical gaps, improve our onboarding approach and make each launch better than the last.

You’ll be part of our launch team, reporting to our head of strategic delivery. WHAT YOU’LL OWN - Lead deep-dive workshops with prospective and onboarding firms to understand their business, pain points and what they’re trying to build - Turn those conversations into clear proposition designs, project summaries and launch plans with agreed milestones, responsibilities and timelines - Own onboarding and migration projects from kick-off through to successful launch, balancing multiple customer firms at the same time - Support technical integrations with Seccl’s API across both standard and more complex customer and user journeys - Run training and workshops so customer teams understand the platform, key processes and how to get the most from Seccl - Keep stakeholders and leadership close to progress, risks, dependencies and commercial objectives - Spot product, technical and process gaps, then work across Seccl to find practical solutions and continuously improve how we launch firms THIS ROLE’S FOR YOU IF… - You’ve led onboarding, implementation, migration or launch projects within Irish financial services, fintech, investment platforms or a closely related environment - You understand the Irish financial services landscape and the operational realities facing advice firms, platforms, fintechs and other distributors - You’re comfortable getting into technical detail and working with APIs, product and engineering teams, without needing to be an engineer yourself - You can build trusted relationships with customers while still challenging, setting expectations and keeping delivery moving - You’re confident running workshops, demos and training sessions with everyone from operational teams through to executives - You can manage several complex projects at once and stay clear-headed when priorities, requirements or timelines change - You naturally look for ways to improve things, using data, customer feedback and what you learn through delivery THIS ROLE ISN’T FOR YOU IF… - You prefer to work on one project at a time or need priorities and processes to stay fixed - You want a delivery role that sits behind the scenes, as you’ll spend a lot of time directly with customer firms and senior stakeholders - You’re uncomfortable getting into the detail of technical integrations, operational processes and how investment propositions work - You’d rather inherit an established playbook than help us improve and evolve how we launch customers in a new market WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU We offer a generous mix of benefits designed around the things that matter to our people: - 💰 A salary between €80,000 and €110,000, dependent on experience and reviewed annually, plus a 6% employer pension contribution and life assurance - 🌴 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, with some flexibility around bank holidays, plus your birthday off - 💙 Two volunteering days each year - 🌎 The option to work abroad for up to six weeks a year - 🌟 Secclbrate, our recognition programme offering flexible rewards including extra pay, additional holiday and increased learning budget - 🏅 One-month paid sabbatical after eight years - 🏥 Private medical insurance - 👪 Enhanced parental leave - 💻 MacBook and up to €500 towards your home office set-up - 📖 €750 annual learning budget - 🌻 Health and wellbeing support, including free therapy through Wellness Cloud and mental health support through Headspace - 🎁 Perkbox https://www.perkbox.com/uk, with flexible points and a range of discounts and perks OUR CULTURE We put people first and try hard to create an environment where people feel trusted, heard and able to do their best work.

We value openness, curiosity and different perspectives. You’ll have the freedom to challenge how things are done, experiment with better ways of working and take real ownership of your impact. As one of our early Dublin hires, you’ll also have the opportunity to help shape the culture we build in Ireland while being part of the wider Seccl team. Check out our Glassdoor page for the latest reviews or our LinkedIn for company updates and insights from the team.

INTERVIEW PROCESS Interviewing is a two-way process. Our interviews are conversational, with plenty of time for you to get to know us and ask questions too. We review applications as they come in and may close the role once we have enough candidates to move forward. We’ll keep you updated throughout. EVERYONE’S WELCOME We want to build a diverse and inclusive company full of brilliant people with different skills, experiences and perspectives.

All applicants will be considered without regard to age, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, family or parental status, national origin, veteran status, neurodiversity or disability. If this sounds like your kind of thing, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick every box. We’d love to hear from you.
