Associate Global Supplier Specialist

The Student Intern is responsible for gaining exposure to career opportunities within the oil and gas technology industry. This person discovers Schlumberger's role in the industry and the lifestyle associated with the job.

Lead the commercial and operational relationship with strategic IT service suppliers to deliver business value, manage risk, and support category objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own strategic supplier relationships and act as the primary interface between suppliers and business stakeholders.
• Establish performance objectives, governance processes, and supplier development plans.
• Lead supplier reviews and drive improvements in cost, service quality, innovation, and productivity.
• Align supplier capacity and capabilities with business demand and priorities.
• Lead commercial negotiations, renewals, contract amendments, and sourcing initiatives.
• Ensure contractual obligations, governance requirements, and value realization commitments are achieved.
• Manage supplier risks, including operational, financial, cybersecurity, compliance, and sustainability risks.
• Identify opportunities to optimize services, commercial models, and supplier portfolios.
