Governance Officer

Hours: 37 hours per week Contract: Fixed Term (Maternity Leave - 13 months) Salary: Grade 7 £35,929 - £38,737 Location: Sheffield (hybrid working) This is an exciting opportunity to join SYMCA’s Legal & Governance Team and play a key role in supporting good governance, effective risk management and regulatory compliance across the organisation. As a Governance Officer, you will help ensure that governance arrangements, audit processes and risk management frameworks are embedded effectively throughout the organisation.

Working with colleagues at all levels, you will contribute to a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and effective decision-making that supports the delivery of SYMCA’s strategic priorities. This role offers the opportunity to develop specialist expertise in governance, risk and assurance while working in a dynamic environment that directly supports the organisation’s success.
