Transportation Financial Associate - Kanawha Co.

**Disclaimer-this position will be considered classified-exempt and “at will.” The Transportation Financial Associate will report to the Financial Division. This position performs entry level accounting support duties under close supervision. The incumbent is responsible for performing routine posting and adjusting to the general ledger, processing claims and invoices, and reviewing transactions for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.

Performs related work as required. Qualifications TRAINING/EDUCATION High school diploma or the equivalent. EXPERIENCE Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in accounting, bookkeeping, budget, or business experience. Substitution: Successful completion of coursework from a regionally accredited college or university may be substituted for the required experience through an established formula.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT Travel may be required; therefore, a valid driver’s license is required PREMOTIONAL ONLY Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience as a Transportation Financial Trainee.
