Tesla is building humanoid robots at scale to take on repetitive, boring work. The Optimus mobile app is how a person controls the robot and checks its status, alongside other means. The foundations, the interaction model, and much of the product itself are being invented now. As a mobile application developer, you will develop the foundations and user interface between a human and a robot. You will help decide how a person directs, understands, and trusts a humanoid while that relationship is still being defined.
You will build features that enhance the customer experience end to end, shipping to a growing fleet of Optimus robots on a regular basis. Collaborating with our design team, firmware engineers, robot UI and back-end developers, you will have extreme ownership - designing architecture, writing robust code, maintaining and improving existing functionality, and shipping brand new features.
