Marketing Analyst Intern

For the North American market, TGW is currently seeking a Marketing Analyst Intern for the Integrated Systems Division, Sales. In this role, you will work at our North American headquarters in Grand Rapids, MI and be responsible for uncovering market insights, improving reporting mechanisms, and making strategic marketing recommendations.

This position requires junior or senior level standing that is majoring in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related degree. This is a part-time, up to thirty hours a week, summer 2027 internship position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Dive into marketing reporting and find previously missed optimizations
• Develop efficient reporting mechanisms and report layouts for content to learn what marketing content performs well and where
• Research and recommend KPI benchmarks
• Use a mix of research tools and AI to develop more detailed customer personas
• Find tools and processes for capturing the latest relevant market insights and trending topics for content planning
• Support other reporting and analytics-based initiatives for marketing and business development teams as requested
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education: Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field

Experience: Some experience or exposure to an office setting, previous internship experience preferred.

Skills & Abilities

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with AI prompting preferred
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified timeframes
• Self-motivated, curious, and willing to dig into the details
• Organized and analytical mindset

Physical and Cognitive Requirements

• Ability to remain stationary at a desk for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry supplies and materials up to 20 lbs on occasion.
• Ability to use office equipment, computers, and various electronic devices constantly throughout workday.
• Ability to move around office environment and reach with hands and arms regularly.
• Ability to communicate with others verbally and in writing, on a frequent basis.
• Ability to focus and complete tasks throughout workday in office environment.
