Marketing Content Intern

For the North American market, TGW is currently seeking a Marketing Content Intern for the Integrated Systems Division, Sales. In this role, you will work at our North American headquarters in Grand Rapids, MI and be responsible for building out our marketing content library through the creation of short-form videos, photos, and graphics.

This position requires junior or senior level standing that is majoring in Multimedia Production, Graphic Design, Video Production, or a related degree. This is a part-time, up to thirty hours a week, summer 2027 internship position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build out the assets needed for a video content campaign: creating clips from our vast content library and creating digital ads to drive YouTube and website traffic
• Produce a library of photos and graphics that can replace the usage of stock photos
• Explore ways to optimize content planning and content creation through AI
• Ensure marketing content maintains a visual consistency and adheres to branding guidelines
• Support other marketing content initiatives as requested: video production, video editing, photography, graphics, PowerPoint design, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education: Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Production, Graphic Design, Video Production, or a related field.

Experience: Some experience or exposure to an office setting.

Skills & Abilities

• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere
• Photography experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified timeframes
• Self-motivated and eager to expand creative skillset
• Understanding of Design Theory and an eye for detail
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills

Physical and Cognitive Requirements

• Ability to remain stationary at a desk for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry supplies and materials up to 20 lbs on occasion.
• Ability to use office equipment, computers, and various electronic devices constantly throughout workday.
• Ability to move around office environment and reach with hands and arms regularly.
• Ability to communicate with others verbally and in writing, on a frequent basis.
• Ability to focus and complete tasks throughout workday in office environment.
