About the role and team
The Account Coordinator helps Uber’s GDP team deliver a consistent, high-quality experience for some of our largest and most strategic merchant partners. You’ll help expand store coverage, guide new locations through onboarding, equip operators to succeed on the platform, and bring valuable inactive locations back online.
Working closely with brand headquarters, store operators, Account Managers, Franchise Account Managers, and Customer Success Managers, you’ll turn partner priorities into practical actions that improve merchant engagement and marketplace performance.
We’re looking for someone resourceful, curious, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-changing environment. You can build trust with partners, confidently host a webinar, use data to understand what needs attention, and explain how your work contributes to business results. You’re also eager to use AI and automation to simplify repetitive work and make effective processes scale.
What You’ll Do
Expand store coverage. Identify and help close gaps in brand and country coverage. Work with brand headquarters to onboard missing corporate stores and partner with Franchise Account Managers to bring franchise locations onto Uber.
Own onboarding execution. Submit and maintain store lists, coordinate onboarding requirements, and serve as a consistent point of contact for operators. Track progress, resolve blockers, and help locations launch successfully.
Strengthen early store performance. Monitor recently onboarded locations, identify signs of low engagement or operational friction, and intervene early to help stores build sustained activity.
Educate and engage operators at scale. Identify knowledge gaps and create practical merchant-facing guides, communications, and training materials. Host webinars, seminars, and Q&A sessions that help operators confidently use Uber’s tools and apply best practices.
Prevent churn and reactivate stores. Prioritize valuable locations that have gone offline or experienced declining activity, diagnose the causes, and work with operators to restore performance. Identify recurring issues and scale successful fixes across brands.
Support ads and offers execution. Set up and upload ads and offers when dedicated advertising operations support is unavailable, working with account teams to ensure accurate and timely execution.
Turn insights into action. Use dashboards and Google Sheets to track coverage, onboarding, early store performance, and churn. Prioritize work based on business impact and measure whether interventions improve results.
Build strong working relationships. Engage brand headquarters and store operators, collaborate across commercial and operational teams, and communicate progress, risks, and next steps clearly. Coordinate the right support to resolve partner issues.
Improve processes with AI and automation. Identify repetitive tasks and use approved tools to streamline tracking, reporting, follow-ups, and content creation while maintaining accuracy and quality.
