Uber Transportation

Senior Associate, Global Commercial Enablement, AI Innovation

New York City, NY In person Full-time

About the role and team

Uber’s Commercial Sales Enablement team equips our commercial teams with the capabilities, tools, insights, and processes needed to increase productivity, accelerate growth, and improve customer outcomes. AI creates new opportunities to improve how our sellers, account managers, and Enablement teams work—from reducing preparation time to helping them make better decisions.

As the Associate, Global Commercial Enablement AI Innovation, you will build and improve AI-powered workflows that solve practical problems for our teams. Reporting to the Manager, Global Commercial Enablement AI Innovation, you will turn prioritized opportunities into working prototypes, test solutions with users, and support their rollout and ongoing improvement.

Approximately 70% of your time will focus on commercial team productivity. You might build workflows that generate tailored pitch decks, streamline account research and meeting preparation, prioritize accounts, or improve field travel planning. The remaining 30% will focus on Enablement team productivity, automating recurring work and improving content development, program coordination, feedback analysis, and reporting.

This is a hands-on builder role for someone who uses AI as a core part of how they solve problems. You will take responsibility for defined projects and workflow components, working with your manager and technical partners on prioritization, design decisions, and more complex integrations. Success means delivering useful, dependable solutions that help teams work faster and smarter.

What you’ll do

Translate user needs into practical solutions: Work with your manager and commercial or Enablement partners to understand recurring tasks, information gaps, and workflow challenges. Turn agreed use cases into clear requirements and build plans.

Build commercial productivity workflows: Develop tools for account research, meeting preparation, tailored pitch deck creation, proposal drafting, and follow-up documentation using approved AI tools and business content.

Support better commercial decisions: Build and test components of account prioritization, outreach planning, and field visit planning tools. Work with business and data partners to check recommendations against agreed objectives and constraints.

Automate Enablement activities: Create workflows that simplify content development and updates, learning resource creation, program coordination, feedback synthesis, reporting, and other recurring tasks.

Develop and iterate on prototypes: Build working solutions, demonstrate them to users, gather feedback, and make improvements. Surface design choices, dependencies, and blockers to your manager early.

Connect tools and information: Use approved AI platforms, APIs, automation tools, and lightweight code to connect systems and streamline work. Collaborate with system owners and technical partners on access and integration requirements.

Test quality and reliability: Apply agreed evaluation criteria to check output accuracy, relevance, consistency, and usability. Maintain test examples, document failures, and improve workflows before broader release.

Build in appropriate controls: Implement human review steps, source references, error handling, and fallback paths. Follow applicable requirements for data access, privacy, security, and customer information.

Support rollout and adoption: Create concise instructions, demonstrations, and examples that help users apply solutions in their daily work. Gather questions and resolve issues or escalate them to the appropriate owner.

Track results and maintain workflows: Collect usage, time-saving, quality, and feedback data. Monitor assigned solutions, troubleshoot problems, and update them as tools, content, and processes change.

Document and reuse effective approaches: Maintain clear documentation of workflow logic, dependencies, testing, and support needs. Share reusable components and lessons with the broader team.

Explore new capabilities: Test emerging approved tools against defined use cases and recommend practical improvements to existing solutions.
