UFORCE Defense & Aerospace

Director of Global Training

London, United Kingdom Hybrid Full-time

UFORCE exists to make aggression unaffordable. Founded in Ukraine and headquartered in London, UFORCE is a defence-technology company with operations across Europe, the United States and Asia. UFORCE builds uncrewed vessels, ground robotics and aircraft, autonomy software, and the command-and-control layer that operates them together. Each platform is deployable on its own, and stronger as part of the system. Its product lines include the MAGURA family of uncrewed surface vessels, the NEMESIS family of strike platforms, the LIUT family of ground robotic platforms, and counter-UAS systems.

ABOUT THE ROLE As Director of Global Training, you’ll shape UFORCE’s global training capability, enabling customers to operate our uncrewed systems safely, legally and effectively. Reporting to the VP Military Exercises, you’ll set a consistent standard across markets, working through training schools, regional and technical teams while local delivery and commercial ownership remain with the regions. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Own global operator and maintainer syllabi, assessment and certification, with controlled materials, consistent thresholds and appropriate local adaptation. - Develop training for new products and command-and-control systems, including individual and group operation, communications and configuration. - Turn validated field experience, including lessons from Ukraine and exercises, into practical instruction within security and sharing restrictions. - Assure standards through school visits, authorisation and certification records, near-miss reporting and corrective actions, feeding findings into training improvements and VP-led safety investigations. - Lead the UK-first route to training-authority recognition with Legal and country leads, distinguishing operating permissions from authority to train and certify and using third-party provision where needed. - Set common course pricing and align instructors and assets with confirmed demand.

Coordinate customer-site training with clear responsibilities for safety, equipment and field engineer support. - Build a sustainable in-house instructor capability, supported by external providers for specialist needs and peak demand. - Deliver cost-effective simulation and blended learning, building on existing capability, managing the allocated budget and retaining hands-on training where essential. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Multi-site training leadership in defence, military or a comparable safety-critical technical environment, with hands-on experience in course design, assessment and instructor standardisation. - Credibility with experienced operators and instructors, sound security judgement and a track record of improving training through operational feedback. - Strong cross-functional leadership, with the ability to secure commitments and resolve resource conflicts without direct line authority. - Experience contributing to regulatory approvals or audits, alongside training pricing and capacity planning. - Experience delivering simulation or blended-learning programmes, with sound budget and learning-outcome decisions. - An inclusive, accountable leadership style that encourages honest reporting and protects safety and standards under pressure. - Willingness to travel regularly to training bases, customer sites and exercises.

NICE TO HAVE - Operational experience with uncrewed systems, including frontline or conflict-environment experience, or training experience in command and control. - Experience with training-authority processes and international operating permissions. - Experience delivering training in multiple languages and adapting it for different cultures. - Experience building an internal instructor pipeline. - Familiarity with security clearance constraints that affect who can deliver training.

The nature of combat has changed. Tomorrow’s battlefield success depends on autonomy, speed, and adaptability. And UFORCE is ready. Are You?
