Assistant - Sustainability

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives to reduce waste, energy, water consumption, and environmental impact.
• Monitor and maintain sustainability related data, including energy, water, waste, emissions, and other environmental KPIs.
• Assist in preparing sustainability reports, maintaining records, and analysing data to track sustainability performance.
• Support environmental compliance activities, internal audits, and adherence to applicable regulations and industry standards.
• Assist in implementing sustainability projects such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, resource conservation, and sustainable sourcing.
• Coordinate with relevant departments and suppliers to promote and integrate sustainable practices into daily operations.
• Support employee awareness and training programs to promote sustainability practices and foster a culture of environmental responsibility.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support the implementation of actions to improve the organization’s sustainability performance.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental management, Eco Business Management, Physical Science, Sustainability, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations, sustainability practices, environmental standards, and industry requirements.
• Good analytical and data management skills, with the ability to prepare reports and monitor KPIs.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with different departments and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong interest in environmental sustainability, continuous improvement, and responsible manufacturing practices.
