Program Specialist

• What’s the role?
• The Program Operations Specialist will support all Program Operations functions.
• This position is a part of a fast-paced operations team that manages program calculations and payment fulfillment. Team members will serve as subject matter experts and will provide high-quality service to our clients.
• You must be able to look at the big picture from both business and technology perspective, possess strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills.
• In this role, you will..
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
• Create and test program calculations in the program calculation tool.
• Assist Quality Assurance Engineers with calculation testing.
• Perform basic SQL queries.
• Assist with testing supplemental payment materials, like checks and payment statements.
• Assist with client facing portal configurations.
• Triage and respond to or assign tier 2 customer support requests related to Program Operations.
• Participate in testing and validating new systems and processes to meet business requirements. May include client/solution onboarding, as well as new feature deployments impacting AGDATA’s program operations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts.

Our ideal candidate will have…

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience of at least 3 years working with data
• MS Excel experience, specifically intermediate Excel skills like VLOOKUP, pivot tables
• Strong problem solving, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills

Basic or intermediate experience of SQL

• Understanding of and adherence to industry best practices
• Ability to effectively prioritize workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
• Can establish project requirements and communicate them clearly and effectively.
• Ability to develop innovative solutions and thrive in a team environment
• Experience with JIRA and Agile practices is highly desired
