About the Team

The Platform Marketing team drives the strategy and go-to-market for Workday's Trusted Agent Platform and the Workday developer platform (Workday Build). Teh team consists of product marketers, developer marketers, and developer relations who support Extend, Data Cloud, the AI Platform, and more. We work closely with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to bring platform capabilities to market and accelerate adoption across the Workday ecosystem.

About the Role

We're looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to be the operational backbone of the Platform Marketing org -- running the programs, processes, and systems that keep high-output teams moving fast and in sync. This role supports the full Platform Marketing organization across CIO Narrative, Platform Product Marketing, Platform GTM, and Developer Marketing & Developer Relations.

You will work across this team, driving launch coordination, reporting, cross-functional process management, customer story capture, and event operations.

This is not a back-office role. You will be embedded in the team's most important workstreams -- launches, Rising prep, DevCon coordination, field enablement rollouts -- and you will be the person who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks. You'll work closely with senior leaders and individual contributors across the team.

Success in this role will be measured through impact across operational effectiveness, program execution, and team leverage. Example outcomes include:

Operational Effectiveness & Program Execution: Ensure platform launches, campaigns, and events ship on time and fully coordinated, with clear ownership, milestones, and status visibility at every stage.

Reporting & Visibility Stand up and maintain dashboards and reporting cadences that give leadership a real-time view of team output, launch status, adoption metrics, and customer story pipeline.

You will be responsible for

  • Launch & Program Coordination

Own operational coordination for platform product launches across PMK, product, field, and campaigns.

Maintain launch trackers and status dashboards.

  • Cross-Functional Process Management

Build and run the handoff processes across Platform Marketing and with peer teams, ensuring assets, messaging, and enablement flow smoothly from creation to deployment.

Identify recurring friction points in cross-functional workflows and propose fixes.

  • Reporting, Dashboards & Metrics

Build and maintain reporting dashboards that track team output, key metrics, and effectiveness.

Own the regular reporting cadence -- compiling data, surfacing insights, and flagging risks to leadership. Partner with analytics teams where needed to source data.

  • Customer Story & Use Case Capture

Manage the pipeline of customer stories and use cases across the Platform Marketing team, coordinating with Platform Marketing teammates, customer marketing and product teams on content creation and approvals; ensuring a steady flow of proof points for launches, events, and field enablement.

  • Event Operations & Administration

Own the operational and administrative coordination for the team's participation in major events -- including Rising, DevCon. This includes logistics, asset tracking, speaker coordination, and post-event follow-up.

Free up team leads from event administration so they can focus on content, narrative, and stakeholder engagement.

About You

4--6 years of experience in marketing operations, program management, or a similar coordination-heavy role within a B2B technology or SaaS organization. Experience supporting product marketing or GTM teams is strongly preferred.

Operationally excellent. You build systems that work and keep complex, multi-stakeholder programs on track with high agency.

Comfortable with budgets, reporting tools, dashboards, and data. You can stand up lightweight reporting systems, pull data from multiple sources, and present it clearly to leadership. You don't need to be a data analyst, but you should be fluent in the tools and unafraid of metrics.

Naturally curious and resourceful. You're comfortable operating in ambiguity, asking questions when things are unclear, and proposing solutions rather than surfacing problems.

A strong communicator who works well with senior stakeholders -- you'll interact regularly with directors and senior leaders, which means you need the judgment to know what matters, and the communication skills to keep people informed without overwhelming them.

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role).

This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
