Jobright vs Scoutify Sniper 2026: AI Copilot vs Auto-Apply

Jobright tailors resumes and applies when you click; Sniper auto-applies on career sites minutes after jobs post. I tested both for 2 weeks: price, proof, fit.

Jobright vs Scoutify is a choice between an AI copilot and an auto-apply tool. Jobright is an all-in-one assistant that matches you to jobs, tailors your resume, finds referrals and, with its Agent, applies when you click; Scoutify's Sniper auto-applies to new jobs for you on company career sites minutes after they post, without waiting for you to open an app. If you want help preparing each application, Jobright is the better fit, and if you want to be one of the first applicants without doing the work, Sniper is.

I tested both tools for two weeks, and I should say up front that I am the founder of Scoutify, so Sniper is my product and the Jobright Agent competes with it. I have tried to describe Jobright the way its own users would, and the sections below say plainly where it is the better choice.

What Jobright does

Jobright is built to be the only job search tool you need. Its copilot, Orion, suggests matching roles from Jobright's own database, explains how well each one fits, tailors your resume and cover letter, and surfaces people at the company who might refer you. It also offers interview practice and a Chrome extension that fills in application forms on systems such as Greenhouse and Lever.

The newest piece is the Jobright Agent, and it deserves a fair description because it does apply. On September 30, 2026, Jobright's agent page said: "One click and your resume goes out perfectly tailored, the application forms are filled, and every submission is tracked for you." In practice, you choose the jobs from your matches and the Agent tailors and submits, which is safer than fully hands-off applying because you see what you are sending. The trade-off is that it starts when you do, from a daily match digest built on Jobright's index rather than from live career pages, so it is not designed to apply minutes after a job posts. In our Jobright review, auto-apply broke on Workday, which matters because Workday sits behind many large employers.

Jobright says more than 2,000,000 people use it, and its users rate it highly: its Trustpilot profile showed 4.8 from 3,453 reviews on September 29, 2026. Jobright shows prices only after you sign up. Reviewers report its Turbo plan at $39.99 a month, with a weekly plan at $17.99 and a quarterly plan at $89.99, and there is a limited free tier.

What Scoutify Sniper does

Scoutify is AI job search that applies for you first. It watches 70,000+ company career pages and catches a new job when the employer publishes it. When that job fits your roles, locations, experience level and visa sponsorship needs and it is on a Workday, Greenhouse or SmartRecruiters career site, Sniper fills in the employer's real application with your resume and profile and submits it, usually within minutes of the posting. Ashby and Lever are rolling out now. Sniper sends up to 500 applications a week, picks the best of up to 100 resumes for each job, and keeps working while you sleep, because it does not need you to click anything.

It also leaves a trail you can check. Sniper never applies to the same posting twice and never logs in to your LinkedIn account. Most applications get the employer's own confirmation email: from August 27 to September 25, 2026, 68% of Sniper applications received one, with a median of 1.2 minutes after submission. Those confirmations and every reply land in Scoutify Mail, sorted by stage.

What Sniper does not do is rewrite your resume or write cover letters. It sends the resume you uploaded, so it works best when you already have a resume you are happy with.

Where Jobright wins

Jobright wins on breadth. Resume tailoring, cover letters, referral finding, interview practice and assisted applying all live in one place, and its referral finder is something no auto-apply tool I know of offers. The Orion copilot and onboarding are especially helpful for career changers and anyone who wants step-by-step guidance, and its resume suggestions are practical. If your bottleneck is how you present yourself rather than when you apply, Jobright's tools can do more for you than Sniper can.

Where Sniper wins

Sniper wins on timing and on doing the work without you. Because it reads career pages directly and applies as soon as a matching job is detected, you are among the first applicants even when you are at work or asleep. It also sends your real resume rather than an AI rewrite, it gives you the employer's confirmation email as proof, and its weekly plans are published up front: Sniper is $25 a week for up to 500 applications, Auto Apply is $15 a week for up to 200 with one resume, and Alerts are $5 a week.

Is Scoutify only for new grads?

Scoutify is not only for new grads. It is for any job seeker whose target roles post on supported career sites, which covers most salaried software, data, product, design, finance and operations roles at companies that run Workday, Greenhouse or SmartRecruiters. New grads and interns are one strong use, because those programs fill quickly and reward early applicants (see our guides to job alerts for new grads and Summer 2027 internships), but experienced candidates use Sniper the same way, with filters for their years of experience and level.

Which fits you

  • Choose Jobright if you want help positioning yourself, tailoring documents for each role or finding referrals, and you are happy to pick and launch each application yourself.
  • Choose Scoutify Sniper if timing is the problem and you would rather have applications sent for you on employer career sites minutes after jobs post, using a resume you already trust.
  • Use both if you want Jobright to sharpen your resume and find referrals, and Sniper to send that resume to new postings first. If you do, turn off Jobright's applying for roles Sniper already covers, so the same employer does not get two applications from you.

If the difference between filling a form and submitting it is still fuzzy, our explainer on autofill vs auto-apply covers it, and can AI apply to jobs for you? explains what these tools can and cannot do.

Frequently asked questions

Does Jobright apply to jobs for you?

Jobright applies for you in part. The Jobright Agent fills in and submits applications when you choose a job and click, and its Chrome extension fills forms for you to submit. It does not apply on its own the moment a job posts, which is what Scoutify's Sniper does.

Is Scoutify only for new grads?

Scoutify is not only for new grads. It is for any job seeker whose roles post on supported career sites such as Workday, Greenhouse and SmartRecruiters. New grads and interns are one strong use, and experienced candidates use it with filters for their level.

How much does Jobright cost compared with Scoutify?

Reviewers report Jobright Turbo at $39.99 a month, with a weekly plan at $17.99, and Jobright shows prices only after sign-up. Scoutify's Sniper costs $25 a week for up to 500 applications, Auto Apply costs $15 a week, and the first 25 applications are free with no card.

Is Jobright legit?

Jobright is legit. It is a venture-funded company founded in 2023 in Santa Clara, California, and it had a 4.8 TrustScore from 3,453 Trustpilot reviews on September 29, 2026.

The bottom line

Jobright is the better AI copilot, and Sniper is the better auto-apply tool. If you need help with what you send, Jobright's tailoring and referrals are worth paying for. If you already have a good resume and your problem is getting it in front of employers before hundreds of other people, let Sniper apply minutes after each job posts, starting with 25 free applications.
