Your Impact

The Business Development Lead will be responsible for generating new leads through outbound prospecting. This position will focus on lead generation - contacting, and developing relationships with potential customers, and scheduling meetings for the sales team.

A Glimpse of What You’ll Do

Develop a solid understanding of KLA’s overall business capabilities

Research organizations to identify needs and key decision makers

Promote and uphold KLA’s values, reputation, and culture

Use prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects

Proactively seek new business opportunities

Provide prompt responses to all prospects and customers

Schedule meetings for executives and prospects

Maintain fruitful relationships with customers and address their needs effectively

Produce creative strategies for targeting decision-makers

Perform regular follow-up calls or emails and facilitating communication with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and identify new potential needs.

Collaborate with sales executives to ensure KLA’s goals and targets are met

Attend networking events

What You Bring

Desire for continuous learning in the field of sales

Strong communication skills

Experience with outreach such as cold calling and emailing

Exceptional time management and organizational skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication or a related field is preferred

Full time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Regularly required to lift or move up to 50 pounds
