Aon Finance/FinTech

Talent Analytics Product Lead

Singapore, Singapore In person Full-time
  • Aon is in the business of better decisions
  • At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.
  • As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive team and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.

What the day will look like

  • Own end-to-end technical delivery of Talent analytics products - build, QA, and release, not just analysis
  • Lead the "how": convert business requirements into an actionable build plan, and drive execution across global/distributed engineering teams
  • Articulate the "why" behind engineering decisions and options clearly for non-technical stakeholders to make informed trade-offs, ontop of report status and explain the reasoning
  • Cultivate and handle relationships with senior stakeholders and business partners across a matrixed organization, driving alignment on scope, priorities, and timelines.
  • Make sound decisions within scope of authority, with clear judgment on what requires broader escalation
  • Evaluate trade-offs - cost, feasibility, best practice - and communicate them clearly when scoping new requests
  • Part of the Analytics Capability Lead's team and assists in executing the broader analytics roadmap, ensuring Talent-specific delivery aligns with overall capability strategy and objectives
  • Lead, hire, and develop a team of analytics professionals across geographies
  • Build and maintain process standards within the field: documentation, QA standards, and decision tracking
  • Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Strong background in people analytics or HR data, ideally with direct experience in compensation benchmarking, survey methodology, or workforce analytics platforms
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical execution plans, and lead distributed/global engineering teams to deliver against them
  • Strong technical fluency - able to explain the reasoning behind engineering tradeoffs (build vs. buy, timeline vs. scope, technical debt vs. speed) to a non-technical audience
  • Experience operating across time zones and distributed teams, coordinating execution without direct daily oversight of every location
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • People management experience - hiring, developing, and holding a team accountable to a defined standard
  • Comfortable operating with high autonomy and real ownership
