About us

XO Team India is the Hyderabad team of the Base8 group, which provides technology and business services to companies across the US and Canada, including Cure8, a managed IT provider for the cannabis industry. Our team works directly with US colleagues and clients every day over Teams, phone and our ticketing and CRM tools, so strong written and spoken English matters in every role.

The role

This position owns the visual design and front-end implementation for marketing websites, landing pages, and brand collateral used by our US and Canada clients. Success in the first year means delivering consistent, on-brand web experiences across WordPress, Webflow, and Shopify; reducing turnaround time for design requests; and establishing a reusable component library that speeds up future projects.

What you'll do

• Design and build responsive web pages and templates in WordPress, Webflow, and Shopify using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Create and maintain a design system and component library in Figma for reuse across client projects.
• Produce marketing graphics for blogs, social media (LinkedIn, Facebook), email campaigns, and sales presentations.
• Translate UI/UX wireframes into pixel-perfect, accessible front-end code and functional CMS templates.
• Customize and optimize WordPress themes and plugins; develop child themes and custom blocks as needed.
• Collaborate with the US-based marketing and development teams over Teams, email, and ticketing tools to scope, review, and deliver work on schedule.
• Apply on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, structured data, image optimization, analytics events) to every page you ship.
• Manage multiple design requests from brief through QA and launch, documenting hand-off notes for developers.

What you'll bring

• 8+ years of professional web and graphic design experience serving global or international clients.
• 5+ years building and maintaining production websites with WordPress (theme development, custom blocks, plugin integration).
• 3+ years writing semantic HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), and vanilla JavaScript or jQuery for interactive UI components.
• Expert proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe XD for high-fidelity mockups and design systems.
• Demonstrated experience with responsive and adaptive design across desktop, tablet, and mobile breakpoints.
• Fluent professional English (written and spoken) for daily collaboration with US-based stakeholders.
• Nice to have
• Hands-on experience with Webflow and Shopify theme customization.
• Familiarity with HubSpot CMS or marketing automation workflows.
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Search Console.
• Exposure to B2B technology or managed-services branding projects.
• Working hours
• UK shift: 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM IST, Monday to Friday.
