Experience related to the duties above, normally acquired through the completion of post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field and experience with providing recruitment support in a unionized environment.

Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Experience in providing customer service support to employees and/or the general public via phone, email and in person.

Significant experience related to the duties listed above, normally acquired through several years of progressively responsible experience, preferably in a municipal environment plus the completion of a University Degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting or Finance and a Professional Accounting Designation.

Demonstrated leadership skills acquired through considerable experience supervising, leading and motivating staff

Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.

Advanced knowledge of enterprise data modeling, data architecture design, and framework management across both structured database engines and unstructured file systems, with a focus on modernizing legacy data structures.

Proven experience selecting, implementing, and governing Enterprise Data Catalogs, automated data lineage tools, and metadata management repositories.

Experience in designing enterprise knowledge structures (such as data pipelines, semantic layers, and vector stores) from file systems, SharePoint libraries, and core business applications to be consumed by AI systems like M365 Copilot, custom RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) applications, and open integration standards like Model Context Protocol (MCP).
