Jules and Rayane started Scoutify in late 2025 after running into the wall most applicants hit: a job goes live, applications pile up within hours, and the recruiter stops reading before they reach yours. Recruiters at Amazon and Microsoft have said the same thing publicly: they read applications in the order they arrive and stop once they have enough people to interview.
Our first product was job alerts. Scoutify checks company career pages directly and tells you when a matching role appears, instead of waiting for it to reach LinkedIn. Alerts got people in early, but applying still took time, and the fastest applicants kept winning. So we built Sniper to do the applying too. Today Scoutify is AI job search that applies for you first, and alerts are still there for anyone who would rather apply themselves. The coverage grew the whole time: in early 2026 we watched about 8,800 career pages, by August it was about 22,000, and today it is 70,000+.
Jules and Rayane had worked together on ML research at McGill. Both of us write code, answer support email and ship updates every week.
