Overview
Are you ready to lead transformative change in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? Gallagher, one of the world’s largest insurance brokerage and risk management firms, is seeking an Implementation and M&A Transformation Lead to join our Pensions Systems Department. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our pension administration services and play a pivotal role in our strategic transformation and M&A activities.
The Implementation and M&A Transformation Lead will play a key role in delivering Gallagher’s strategic transition from legacy pension administration platforms to a more scalable, standardised and future-state operating model. The role requires a senior, outcome-focused individual who can combine transformation leadership, migration delivery expertise, implementation methodology design, stakeholder engagement, technical understanding and leadership of specialist teams.
The ideal candidate will be able to operate across business, technology and operations, helping bridge the gap between strategic intent and practical delivery. They will understand how to build controlled and repeatable migration methods, how to support complex implementation and migration activity, how to work with specialist data and calculation teams, and how to influence stakeholders across a complex transformation environment.
The role requires someone capable of leading through ambiguity, shaping delivery methods, supporting decision-making, challenging constructively and ensuring migration activity results in sustainable operational outcomes. The successful candidate will need to balance strategic transformation thinking with practical migration delivery discipline.
How you'll make an impact
Lead Transformation: Design and embed a scalable, automation-led migration methodology to transition pension schemes and operational capabilities to Gallagher’s future-state operating model.
Drive M&A Integration: Support merger and acquisition activities by assessing acquired platforms, shaping migration strategies, and embedding lessons learned into future processes.
Ensure Operational Readiness: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption of new tools, processes, and ways of working, improving operational efficiency and member experience.
Foster Innovation: Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and analytics to enhance migration methodologies and drive continuous improvement.
Lead Teams: Manage and develop specialist teams, ensuring consistent quality standards and effective collaboration across data transformation, calculation analysis, and migration delivery.
