The ideal candidate should have experience working with embedded systems, cloud platforms, device communication protocols, and end-to-end IoT application development.

Roles & Responsibilities

• lDesign, develop, and maintain IoT applications and connected device solutions.
• lDevelop firmware and software for microcontrollers, sensors, and edge devices.
• lIntegrate IoT devices with cloud platforms and backend systems.
• lImplement device communication using protocols such as MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, CoAP, BLE, Zigbee, orLoRaWAN.
• lMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize device performance, connectivity, and data transmission.
• lCollaborate with hardware, software, and product teams to deliver scalable IoT solutions.
• lDevelop APIs and services for device management and data processing.
• lEnsure security best practices for device authentication, data encryption, and network communication.
• lCreate technical documentation, deployment guides, and support materials.
• lParticipate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance activities.

Requirements

• lBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• l2–3 years of experience in IoT application development.
• lStrong programming skills in Python, C, C++, or Java.
• lExperience with microcontrollers and development boards such as ESP32, STM32, Arduino, or Raspberry Pi.
• lKnowledge of IoT communication protocols (MQTT, Modbus, CAN, BLE, Zigbee, LoRaWAN, TCP/IP).
• lExperience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services IoT, Microsoft Azure IoT, or Google Cloud.
• lUnderstanding of REST APIs, WebSockets, and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
• lFamiliarity with Linux-based environments and shell scripting.
• lKnowledge of Git version control and CI/CD practices and understanding of IoT security concepts and best practices
