Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Data Business Analyst or in a similar role delivering data and technology initiatives, with the ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical solutions.
Advanced SQL skills and a strong understanding of data integration, data warehousing, batch processing and data transformation methodologies, with experience working across large and complex datasets.
Strong knowledge of data modelling, data quality, data lineage and relational databases, with the ability to investigate issues, validate requirements and identify practical solutions.
Strong SQL development skills (PostgreSQL, Oracle or similar) and experience writing complex queries using joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, data reconciliations and transformation logic.
Ability to produce clear requirements, data mappings, business rules, technical specifications and acceptance criteria.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills, with experience working effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences in an agile delivery environment.
Experience within financial services, investment banking, private capital, accounting or financial reporting environments would be advantageous, alongside a highly organised and detail-oriented approach to delivering outcomes through ambiguity.
