- ·A strong engineering or technical background, combined with product ownership experience in engineering-led environments. You can engage deeply with engineers and shape both what gets built and why.
- ·Experience building digital platforms, workflow systems or software products, rather than solely managing product roadmaps or requirements.
- ·Strong understanding of APIs, system integration and event-driven architectures, including how applications exchange data, trigger actions and work together as part of a broader platform.
- ·Experience translating manual processes into engineered digital workflows and scalable, production-grade technology solutions.
- ·Confidence working with automation, AI agents or LLM-powered workflows and an interest in how these can be embedded into software products and engineering delivery.
- ·A builder mindset. You are comfortable getting into the technology with engineering teams, challenging existing approaches and helping turn ideas into working products.
- ·The ability to work across engineering, operations and other stakeholders, making pragmatic build-versus-extend decisions and prioritising for scalable outcomes.
- We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
