As an investment systems consultant in our financial reporting organization, you’ll serve as a strategic liaison between the Investment Accounting Data and IT teams, partnering with stakeholders to identify, design, and implement solutions that enhance business processes, improve data quality, strengthen reporting and controls, and drive operational efficiency. This role blends business and systems analysis, data analysis, project delivery, and technical problem-solving, with a strong focus on modernizing legacy applications and processes into scalable, sustainable solutions.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable working across both business and technical areas, translating complex business needs into effective technology solutions that create lasting impact.

Location: This is a remote position with occasional travel for meetings and/or training.

Minimum qualifications

A minimum of 8 years experience in business systems (e.g., systems integration, implementing technology solutions, project management, process design and optimization, testing and troubleshooting systems, training and supporting users, ensuring compliance and security, gathering and documenting requirements).

Preferred skills

• Experience supporting Investment Accounting processes and investment systems, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Familiarity with investment platforms such as PAM, PACE, Bloomberg, or similar tools.
• Strong technical skills in SQL and SQL Server, along with experience in ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake and other cloud-based platforms.
• Experience with reporting and analytics tools, including Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, as well as programming or automation technologies such as VBA, SAS, Microsoft Access, or similar tools.
• Understanding of Investment, Regulatory, Financial Reporting, and Investment Accounting processes, with experience modernizing legacy applications, reporting processes, and data workflows.

Compensation

$81,400 - $131,200/year depending on position level and experience

Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
