At least 2 years of experience in adult education, employee training, learning and development, teaching, facilitation, orientation or onboarding, museum education, hospitality training, or a related role preferred.

Demonstrated ability to facilitate or present effectively to adult groups and to communicate information clearly, confidently, and conversationally.

Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in volunteer management, nonprofit operations, workforce programs, community engagement, human resources, visitor services, organizational culture, or a related field.

Demonstrated experience leading a large, complex volunteer program, including direct supervision of a management structure that includes a program manager and multiple supervisors responsible for volunteers serving across multiple operating areas.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, Communication, Hospitality, Education, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.

Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible administrative experience, including experience supporting a senior leader, executive, or multiple department leaders in a complex professional environment.

Demonstrated experience evaluating competing departmental priorities and exercising informed independent judgment within delegated authority, including determining when significant matters require executive attention.
