You have at least 4+ years of experience managing one or more engineering teams, with a proven track record of managing senior individual contributors and leading projects of medium-to-high complexity.

Demonstrated experience owning delivery for initiatives spanning multiple teams or complex product domains.

Experience partnering with product managers to influence product roadmaps and align technical strategy with business objectives.

Preferably 6+ years of experience in data engineering or distributed backend systems, including 3**+ years operating large-scale streaming or data platform infrastructure in production**, and experience mentoring or technically leading engineers.

Hands-on experience with streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka) and distributed processing tools (e.g., Spark or Flink) — our event streaming platform is built on Kafka.

Hands-on experience building and operating data pipelines on GCP with BigQuery (and familiarity with multi-cloud patterns).

2+ years of experience in merchant success, account management, field sales, retail operations, activation, or a related customer-facing function

Experience diagnosing operational blockers and coordinating multiple teams to drive resolution
