How you will make an impact

In this role, you’ll

  • Lead, coach, and develop Directors responsible for each operational function, establishing clear priorities, decision rights, performance expectations, and accountability.
  • Translate the VP’s strategic direction into operating plans, service standards, resource priorities, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Establish consistent operating practices, controls, metrics, and governance across customers while appropriately addressing customer-specific needs.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, service levels, cash and financial outcomes, and other key performance indicators to identify risks and drive corrective action.
  • Lead operational reviews and communicate performance, risks, root causes, decisions, and recovery plans to senior leaders and customer-facing teams.
  • Direct resolution of complex operational escalations and coordinate cross-functional support when issues span teams, customers, systems, or workflows.
  • Advance process improvement, automation, AI-enabled solutions, and workflow enhancements that increase efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and customer value.
  • Partner with workforce and operational leaders on capacity planning, staffing models, performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable healthcare regulations, payer requirements, internal controls, company policies, and customer commitments.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement across centralized operations.

  • Use performance data to identify root causes, prioritize action, and make clear decisions.
  • Communicate complex operational issues clearly to executives, customer-facing leaders, and frontline teams.
  • Navigate competing priorities and escalations with composure, urgency, and a solutions-focused approach.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships and maintain momentum from decision through execution.
  • Challenge legacy processes and champion practical improvements that strengthen quality, efficiency, scalability, and customer outcomes.
