Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field, plus 10–15 years of commercial lending, business banking, and portfolio or credit management experience—preferably in a bank or credit union—or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Extensive knowledge of commercial credit, loan structuring, pricing, deposit growth, business banking, cash management, regulatory requirements, and the credit union and banking industry.

Strong strategic thinking, financial analysis, problem-solving, decision-making, negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.

Knowledge of applicable regulatory and compliance requirements, with the ability to review marketing and communications content for accuracy, consistency, and compliance to support fair and consistent practices.

Expertise in content development ensuring messaging aligns with the Credit Union’s mission, values, and commitment to provide excellent member experience.

Proficiency with social media platforms and digital content creation, including developing content tailored to varying audiences and channels.

A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or finance, and ten years of related human resources, payroll, benefits, and/or compensation experience, including five or more years supervising in an HR department, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong working knowledge of payroll, benefits, and compensation practice and regulatory compliance, along with federal and state employment laws; general knowledge of credit union operations valued.

Strong financial and analytical skills, including the mathematical and statistical concepts that underpin data analysis and reporting, and strong research skills to ensure HR data integrity.
