Business Systems Specialist

We’re looking for a Business Systems Specialist to join the Business Solutions team. This is a 12 month secondment opportunity. The Business Systems Specialist will bring deep claims, policy or premium expertise to the Future Claims Model Program, with approximately 50% of the role initially dedicated to supporting the Weekly Benefits Project. You will help ensure new systems, processes and ways of working are practical, user-centred and grounded in operational reality.

Working as a key link between the program and the business, you will contribute specialist insight across process and system design, user acceptance testing, change adoption and learning. This opportunity would suit someone with strong technical knowledge of claims, policy, premium or broader insurance operations who is detail-oriented, analytical and able to translate complex business requirements into practical insights.

You will need to think beyond your immediate area, consider broader impacts and dependencies, and confidently contribute in an environment where scope and priorities will continue to evolve. You will bring an enterprise mindset, strong collaboration skills and the ability to identify risks, gaps and unintended impacts before they affect delivery. Experience with Guidewire or another insurance platform would be highly regarded, along with the ability to contribute to realistic test scenarios, validate solutions and support the business to understand and adopt new ways of working.
