Position Overview

The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for a variety of accounting responsibilities. They will ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable documents, maintain department goals for Accounts Receivable aging and customer experience, and will maintain daily and monthly transaction details to support company activity and insure the timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial information.

The Accounting Specialist is primarily responsible for

• Accounts Payable for Zones Canada, Inc.
• Accounts Receivable for Zones Canada, Inc.
• Support Zones Canada, Inc. financial accounting
• Provide support for external audit activities
• We are seeking candidates with the following experience and skills

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

Associate Degree preferred, equivalent relevant experience.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

3-5 years of high-volume experience including account reconciliations, prompt pay discounts, return authorization collection, cash forecasting

Strong working knowledge of MS Excel.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to meet strict deadlines.

Detail oriented with good organizational skills.
