AIApply vs Scoutify Sniper 2026: Credits vs Minutes After Posting
I ran 60 applications through AIApply and Scoutify. AIApply sells credits for job board volume; Sniper applies on employer sites minutes after posting, $25/week.
AIApply vs Scoutify is a comparison of two tools that both apply for you but make opposite bets. AIApply sells a writing suite with auto-apply credits on top, one credit per application, and it applies at volume across job boards and some career portals. Scoutify's Sniper auto-applies on the employer's own career site minutes after a matching job posts, for one flat weekly price. Pick AIApply if you want LinkedIn and Indeed coverage with AI-written materials, and pick Sniper if you want to be among the first applicants with your own resume and proof that each application arrived.

For the original version of this comparison, I ran 60 applications through AIApply and through Scoutify's auto apply. I am the founder of Scoutify, so read my view with that in mind. This update rewrites the comparison around what each tool does today, its current prices, and the two things I think matter most when software applies in your name: how soon after posting it applies, and whether you can prove the application arrived.
How AIApply works
AIApply is an AI job application toolkit. It has a resume builder, a cover letter generator, a resume scanner, mock interviews, a real-time interview assistant and an auto-apply feature. Auto apply scans for roles that match your profile, generates a tailored resume and cover letter for each one, and submits the application across LinkedIn Easy Apply, Indeed and many company career portals. You can turn on review-before-send if you want to approve each application, and users report sending 30 to 45 applications a week with it, compared with 8 to 12 by hand.
Its marketing is built on volume and outcomes. On September 30, 2026, its auto-apply page said "Land Up to 80% More Interviews with Auto Apply" and "Loved by 2,064,348 users." We could not verify either figure, and neither one says anything about how soon after posting an application goes out.
In the 60-job test from our AIApply review, the result depended mostly on the application system behind each posting: Greenhouse applications went through, Workday applications broke, and custom screening questions tripped 38% of attempts. That pattern matters, because a tool that fails on the longer forms ends up applying mostly to the easiest jobs.
How Sniper works
Scoutify is AI job search that applies for you first. It watches 70,000+ company career pages directly and catches a new job when the employer publishes it. When the job fits your roles, locations, experience level and visa sponsorship needs and it is on a Workday, Greenhouse or SmartRecruiters career site, Sniper fills in the employer's real application with your resume and profile and submits it, usually within minutes of the posting. Ashby and Lever are rolling out now. It sends up to 500 applications a week, picks the best of up to 100 resumes for each job, and keeps applying while you sleep.
Sniper never logs in to your LinkedIn account and never applies on linkedin.com, and it never applies to the same posting twice. It does not write cover letters or rewrite your resume. Matching jobs on sites it does not support still reach you as an alert, so you can apply to those yourself.
Proof: a confirmation email against an in-app status
When an application goes through the employer's own Workday, Greenhouse or SmartRecruiters form, the employer's system usually sends a confirmation email. From August 27 to September 25, 2026, 68% of Sniper applications received one, with a median of 1.2 minutes after submission, and those emails land in Scoutify Mail next to every later reply. That email comes from the employer rather than from the tool asking you to trust it, which is why I think it is the best proof available (more in our guide to the job application confirmation email). AIApply shows an application list in your dashboard, and Easy Apply and job board submissions rarely produce an employer receipt you can check.
Price: credits against a flat weekly plan
AIApply's price takes some arithmetic. As reported in September 2026, the Premium toolkit costs about $29 a month and does not include auto apply. Applications are sold as credits on top: about $10 for 10, $39 to $60 for 100, and $79 for 250, so each application costs between about $0.32 and $1.00 on top of the subscription. A realistic month with 100 applications comes to about $68 to $89. AIApply no longer shows prices before sign-up, so confirm them at checkout.
Scoutify has no credits. Sniper costs $25 a week for up to 500 applications, which is 5 cents an application at the cap, and Auto Apply costs $15 a week for up to 200 applications with one resume. Alerts alone cost $5 a week. Your first 25 applications are free with no card, and every plan is billed weekly and can be cancelled anytime.

Is AIApply legit?
AIApply is a real company that does submit applications for people who buy credits, but its two public ratings disagree sharply. On Trustpilot it had a TrustScore of 4.2 from 1,843 reviews on September 29, 2026, with a polarized split between five-star and one-star reviews. On the same day, the Better Business Bureau gave AiApply.co an F rating, and BBB grades weigh heavily how a business answers complaints. Most negative reviews are about billing, cancellation and the credit system rather than the software itself, so read the refund terms before you buy. Our AIApply review covers both ratings in detail.
Where AIApply wins
AIApply wins on reach and on writing help. It applies through LinkedIn Easy Apply and Indeed, which Sniper deliberately does not, so it reaches jobs that never appear on a supported career site. It also generates tailored resumes and cover letters and includes interview practice, which helps entry-level and mid-level candidates who struggle with writing. The catch with LinkedIn is that its User Agreement prohibits automated activity, so you are trading coverage for account risk (our guide to LinkedIn auto apply explains that trade).
Where Sniper wins
Sniper wins on timing, proof and predictability. It applies minutes after a job posts instead of after the listing has reached a board, it gives you the employer's own confirmation email, it sends the resume you wrote rather than an AI rewrite, and its price is one weekly number with no credits. For competitive salaried roles, where generic generated materials can hurt more than help, I think those four things matter more than volume.
Which one to pick
- Pick AIApply if you need LinkedIn and Indeed coverage, want writing and interview tools in the same place, value volume over timing, and are comfortable with AI-written materials representing you.
- Pick Scoutify Sniper if you want to be among the first applicants at companies with real career sites, prefer your own resume, want proof that each application arrived, and want a flat weekly price.
- Use both only if you split the work, with Sniper on the employers it supports and AIApply on board-only jobs, so the same employer never gets two applications from you.
Frequently asked questions
Is AIApply legit?
AIApply is a legitimate company that submits applications for people who buy credits. It had a 4.2 Trustpilot score from 1,843 reviews and an F rating from the Better Business Bureau on September 29, 2026, and most complaints concern billing and the credit system.
How much does AIApply cost per application?
AIApply sells auto-apply credits at about $0.32 to $1.00 per application, depending on the pack, on top of a toolkit subscription of about $29 a month, as reported in September 2026. Scoutify's Sniper costs $25 a week for up to 500 applications, with no credits.
Which applies faster, AIApply or Scoutify?
Scoutify's Sniper applies faster, usually minutes after a job posts, because it reads company career pages directly. AIApply mostly applies to listings on job boards, which can already be hours or days old.
Does Scoutify use my LinkedIn account?
Scoutify's Sniper never logs in to LinkedIn and never applies on linkedin.com. It applies only on employer career sites built on Workday, Greenhouse and SmartRecruiters, with Ashby and Lever rolling out.
The bottom line
AIApply is a volume tool with writing help, priced in credits, and Sniper is a timing tool priced by the week. If your bigger problem is keeping up with board listings and writing materials, AIApply covers more ground. If your problem is that you keep finding good jobs after hundreds of people have applied, let Scoutify's AI auto apply submit on the employer's site minutes after posting, and use your first 25 free applications to check the confirmation emails yourself.
