AIApply Review 2026: Is It Legit? Pricing, Trustpilot, 60 Jobs Tested
AIApply is legit, but auto apply costs extra: credits on top of the $29/month plan make 100 applications about $68. We also tested it on 60 real jobs.
Is AIApply legit? AIApply is a legitimate product with real users, but the price on its homepage is not the price of auto apply. The Premium plan of about $29 a month covers the writing tools, and applications are sold as credits on top, so a realistic bill for 100 applications a month is about $68. This AIApply review covers what it costs in September 2026, what Trustpilot and the Better Business Bureau say about it, what happened when we tested it on 60 real jobs, and when Scoutify's Sniper is the better choice.
I am the founder of Scoutify, and our Sniper plan also applies to jobs for you, so you should read my opinion with that in mind. The two products make different bets. AIApply writes a new resume and cover letter for each job and applies at volume across job boards such as LinkedIn and Indeed, while Sniper sends your real resume on the employer's own career site within minutes of a new posting. Both approaches have a place, and this review tries to show where each one fits. (Many people search for the product as "AI Apply", and both spellings refer to the same company at aiapply.co.)

Is AIApply Legit?
AIApply is legit in the sense that matters most: it is a real company, it charges through a normal checkout, and it does submit applications for people who buy credits. It launched in 2023, and the Better Business Bureau lists the business as AiApply.co, at an address in Berkeley, California. Whether it is worth your money is a separate question, and the two public ratings answer it very differently.
On Trustpilot, AIApply had a TrustScore of 4.2 from 1,843 reviews when we checked on September 29, 2026, with 65% of the reviews at five stars and 12% at one star. When we first reviewed it, a 4.3 rating came from 700+ reviews, with 64% at five stars and over 100 at one star, so the split has stayed polarized. Trustpilot has also put an integrity notice on the profile about how the company collects reviews, and the profile now says it was merged with other profiles belonging to the company, so you should read the score with that in mind.
The Better Business Bureau is much harsher. On September 29, 2026, its profile for AiApply.co showed an F rating, no BBB accreditation, 6 complaints closed in the last three years and 3 customer reviews. BBB grades weigh heavily how a business responds to complaints, and an independent review site reported in June 2026 that AIApply had failed to answer 3 of the 4 complaints filed at that point. An F rating does not make a product a scam, but it does suggest that a billing dispute with this company may be hard to resolve.
Positive reviews praise the time saved, the ease of use and the interview tools. Negative reviews focus almost entirely on billing, cancellation, support response times and generic output. On Reddit, sentiment is more cautious: several threads describe the platform as effective for high-volume entry-level applications but warn about the hidden auto-apply costs. The general consensus is that AIApply works best for candidates who prioritize quantity and are comfortable with AI-generated materials, and that it is not well suited to targeted, high-quality applications for competitive roles.
How Much Is AIApply? Pricing and Refunds
Pricing is the most common complaint in reviews, so here it is in one place. The figures below are as reported in September 2026, and AIApply changes its plans often, so you should confirm them at checkout. Its own pricing page no longer shows prices before you sign up; it says that full access requires a paid subscription and that a limited free tier takes the place of a timed trial.
- The Premium toolkit costs about $29 a month. Billed annually, it works out to roughly $16 a month, and it covers the resume builder, cover letters, the scanner, interview preparation and the job board. The base subscription does not include auto-apply credits.
- Auto apply is sold as credits. Each credit pays for one application. Packs run about $10 for 10 ($1.00 per application), $39 to $60 for 100 ($0.39 to $0.60 per application) and $79 for 250 ($0.32 per application).
- A realistic total is $68 to $89 a month. The toolkit plus 100 applications comes to about $68 to $89 a month, and heavier users land near $70 to $90. Some higher-tier bundles combine the subscription and credits at a discount, but the layered pricing is not obvious during signup.
Several Trustpilot reviewers and Reddit users have flagged this as misleading. The marketing presents auto apply as a core feature, and many one-star reviews come from people who subscribed expecting it to be included and then found the credit system. The pricing is disclosed, but it is not disclosed where most people look first.
Can You Get a Refund from AIApply?
Refunds are narrow. AIApply's terms of service say that fees are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise, and they list only a few exceptions: a reproducible technical issue that materially prevents you from using the service, an accidental purchase reported within 30 minutes of the charge with no meaningful use, and a proportional refund if the company substantially cuts a paid feature. The terms call Auto-Apply a non-refundable product once applications have been submitted, and they ask you to contact support and let the company try to fix the problem before a refund is considered.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the term, and refunds for renewals are generally not available. If you try AIApply, I would set a calendar reminder a few days before the renewal date.
What We Found When We Tested AIApply on 60 Real Jobs
We tested AIApply on 60 real job postings across LinkedIn, Indeed and direct company applications. The result depended mostly on the application system behind each posting: Greenhouse applications went through, Workday applications broke, and custom screening questions tripped 38% of attempts.
That pattern makes sense once you know how these forms work. A Greenhouse form is short and predictable, while Workday asks every applicant to create an account with the employer and then walks them through several pages of questions. Custom screening questions are harder still, because the employer uses the answers to decide whether to read the application at all. A tool that fails on the longer forms ends up applying mostly to the easiest jobs, and those are not always the jobs you want most.
How AIApply Works
AIApply is an AI job application toolkit. It has an AI resume builder, a cover letter generator, a resume scanner, mock interviews, a real-time interview assistant, and an auto-apply feature that finds jobs and submits applications for you.
The platform positions itself as an end-to-end solution: you upload your resume, set your preferences, and let the AI handle applications while you focus on interview preparation. It aggregates listings from LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor and company career pages, and then fills in and sends applications from your stored profile.
Auto Apply
AIApply scans for roles that match your profile, generates a tailored resume and cover letter, and submits the application. It works across LinkedIn Easy Apply, Indeed and many company career portals, and each application consumes one credit. Users report sending 30 to 45 applications per week, compared with 8 to 12 when applying manually, and you can turn on review-before-send if you want control. Match quality varies: some users get accurate targeting, while others report applications to roles well above or below their level or in unrelated industries. Because the materials are generated for each job, you are also trusting AI-written text to represent you.
Resume Builder and Scanner
The resume builder generates ATS-friendly resumes from scratch or by importing your LinkedIn profile, and it can create several versions tailored to different role types. The scanner compares an existing resume against a job description and flags keyword gaps that could hurt your ATS match rate. Both tools are most useful for entry-level and mid-level roles.
Cover Letter Generator
For each application, AIApply generates a cover letter that references the specific company and role. The output is functional but sometimes reads as generic, particularly for senior positions, where recruiters expect more nuance and specificity.
Interview Tools
The AI Mock Interview generates role-specific questions and gives feedback on your answers. The Interview Buddy offers real-time coaching during actual interviews and suggests talking points and answer frameworks. Both are reasonable for newer candidates, while experienced people tend to find the suggestions surface-level.
Resume Translator
The translator converts your resume into 50+ languages while keeping professional formatting. It is a niche feature, but it is valuable for international job seekers who apply to roles in different countries.
What We Like
- It saves real time at volume. If you would otherwise apply by hand to 30 or more jobs a week, manual applications would take 15 to 20 hours, and AIApply cuts that to a fraction.
- The resume scanner is useful for ATS screening. It catches keyword gaps that generic templates miss, which improves pass-through rates for entry-level and mid-level roles where ATS screening is strict.
- Interview Buddy is a good idea. The real-time coaching helps candidates who get nervous and forget their talking points during live interviews.
- It reaches several platforms from one dashboard. Applications go out across LinkedIn, Indeed and company career pages, which reduces the friction of managing many accounts and logins.
- The toolkit is broad. The resume, cover letter, scanner and interview tools all sit under one login.
- The resume translator helps international applicants. It is handy when you apply across countries.
Where It Falls Short
- The pricing is layered. The credit system roughly doubles the sticker price for anyone who actually wants auto apply, and this is by far the most common complaint in negative reviews.
- The materials are generated. A fresh AI resume and cover letter for each job can read as formulaic, particularly for competitive senior roles, and you are not the one who wrote them. Several users report low interview conversion despite sending large numbers of applications.
- The targeting is not always accurate. The job-matching algorithm sometimes sends applications to roles far above or below the user's experience level.
- Most of its jobs come from job boards. Much of what it applies to has already sat on LinkedIn or Indeed for hours or days, so you are one of many applicants.
- Support can be slow. Multiple Trustpilot reviews cite slow or unresponsive support, particularly around billing disputes and refund requests. The company does respond publicly to reviews, but resolution times vary.
- Billing problems recur in the reviews. Some users report difficulty cancelling or unexpected charges after their billing cycle, and this is a recurring theme in one-star reviews.
AIApply vs Sniper
The two tools make opposite bets. AIApply optimizes for volume from job boards with generated materials. Sniper, Scoutify's AI auto apply, optimizes for being early and being specific. Scoutify watches 70,000+ company career pages, so it reaches jobs before they appear on LinkedIn or Indeed, when your chances are highest. When a new job matches your roles, locations and visa needs, Sniper submits your real resume on the employer's own application form minutes after it posts, up to 500 applications a week, and the employer's confirmation email and any replies land in Scoutify Mail.
| Question | AIApply | Scoutify Sniper |
|---|---|---|
| How soon after posting it applies | When the job reaches the boards it searches, often hours or days later | Minutes after the job posts on the career site |
| Where it applies | LinkedIn Easy Apply, Indeed and many company portals | Employer career sites on Workday, Greenhouse and SmartRecruiters (Ashby and Lever rolling out); never on linkedin.com |
| Proof of submission | Not a published feature | The employer's confirmation email, in Scoutify Mail |
| Price per application | About $0.32 to $1.00 per credit, plus about $29/mo for the toolkit | $25/week for up to 500 (5 cents each at the cap); Auto Apply $15/week for up to 200 |
Pricing is weekly and flat: Sniper is $25 a week with no credit packs, and the smaller Auto Apply plan is $15 a week for up to 200 applications. Your first 25 applications are free, and you can cancel anytime (see pricing). At low volume, AIApply can cost less per month, because 100 applications with the toolkit come to about $68, while Sniper billed weekly comes to about $108 over a month. The comparison flips as volume rises, because Sniper's price does not change with the number of applications up to its cap. Sniper also applies only when a new job actually matches your filters, so the number you reach in a week depends on how many matching jobs are posted.
The tradeoff is coverage: Sniper does not reach every portal AIApply reaches. It applies on Workday, Greenhouse and SmartRecruiters career sites, the three platforms where most tech jobs live, and support for Ashby and Lever is rolling out. Sniper never logs in to your LinkedIn account and never applies on linkedin.com, so it misses Easy Apply jobs, but your LinkedIn account is never part of the process. (LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits using bots or other unauthorized automated methods to access its services, which is worth knowing before you connect any tool to your account.) Sniper also does not write resumes or cover letters, so you should pair it with a resume tool if you want tailoring. For a longer head-to-head, see Scoutify vs AIApply.
Who Should Use AIApply?
- Entry-level and mid-level candidates who want the resume, cover letter and interview tools in one place can use it well, especially for roles where volume matters more than deep personalization.
- Career changers who need to cast a wide net across industries and role types will find it useful.
- Applicants who need LinkedIn and Indeed coverage get it from AIApply, and Sniper does not offer it.
- International applicants benefit from the resume translator and the multi-platform reach.
- Time-constrained job seekers who cannot spend 15 or more hours a week on manual applications will save the most time.
It is a weaker fit for senior candidates who target specific companies, for candidates in niche fields where generic applications get filtered out, and for anyone who does not want AI-generated documents sent in their name.

Best AIApply Alternatives
AIApply's layered pricing, mixed application quality and billing complaints push many users to look elsewhere. Each of these alternatives solves a different part of the problem.
Scoutify Sniper: Best for Applying First
Sniper applies to new matching jobs minutes after they post on career sites, with flat weekly pricing and the employer's confirmation email as proof. Most auto-apply tools pull from job boards that lag behind career pages by hours or days, and Scoutify removes that delay so you apply early, when your chances are highest. See how Sniper applies on the employer's career site.
JobCopilot: Best for a Single Monthly Price
JobCopilot scans over 500,000 company career pages every two hours and matches you with up to 50 relevant positions a day. Unlike AIApply, it has no separate credit system: you pay one price ($24 to $32 a month) and get auto apply, cover letter generation, mock interviews and application tracking included. Its Trustpilot rating of 4.2 out of 5 is steadier than AIApply's polarized reviews. See our JobCopilot review.
Simplify: Best for Autofill You Control
Simplify's free Chrome extension fills in forms but leaves the submit click to you. You keep full control over each application while saving 60 to 70% of the time spent on repetitive data entry, and it works across Greenhouse, Lever, Workday and other major ATS platforms. See our Simplify review.
Jobright: Best for Resume Tailoring and Referrals
Jobright's AI copilot restructures your resume sections and rephrases bullet points to match what specific job descriptions emphasize. Its Insider Connections feature identifies potential referral contacts at target companies, which no auto-apply tool provides. It has a free tier, and paid plans have ranged from $29 to $59 a month. See our Jobright review.
Is AIApply Worth It?
AIApply is legitimate, and it delivers on its core promise of volume. If you need to send dozens of applications per week and you care more about coverage than customization, it saves a lot of time, and the resume tools and interview preparation add real value on top of the auto-apply engine.
The main friction points are pricing transparency and output quality. Budget $70 to $90 a month if you plan to use auto apply seriously, read the billing and refund terms, and review generated materials before important applications go out. Check recent Trustpilot reviews and the BBB profile before committing, and use the limited free tier to test the platform before you buy credits.
If your edge is being among the first applicants to jobs that actually fit you, a career-page tool like Sniper is the better match. Finding jobs minutes after they post and applying quickly is a more effective strategy than bulk-applying to stale listings that have already collected hundreds of applicants. You can also research specific companies before applying: pages like Amazon careers, Meta interview questions and Google interview prep show what to expect from each company's hiring process.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much is AIApply per month?
AIApply's Premium toolkit costs about $29 a month, or roughly $16 a month billed annually, and it does not include auto-apply credits. Credits cost about $0.32 to $1.00 per application depending on the pack, so the toolkit plus 100 applications comes to about $68 to $89 a month.
Can I get a refund on AIApply?
AIApply's terms say that fees are non-refundable except for a reproducible technical issue, an accidental purchase reported within 30 minutes with no meaningful use, or a substantial cut to a paid feature. Auto-apply credits are non-refundable once applications have been submitted, and subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the term ends.
Is AIApply free?
AIApply has a limited free tier that lets you try core tools, such as a sample cover letter or the job board, but it has no timed trial. Full access requires the paid subscription, and auto apply requires credits bought on top of it.
Does AIApply really work?
AIApply does submit applications, but the results vary by site. In our test on 60 real jobs, Greenhouse applications went through, Workday applications broke, and custom screening questions tripped 38% of attempts, which matches reviews saying it works best on simpler forms and often needs manual help on complex ones.
Is AIApply worth it?
AIApply is worth it if you want a broad toolkit and plan to send many applications through job boards, and you accept AI-written materials and a bill of about $70 to $90 a month. If you would rather apply early with your real resume on employer career sites, Scoutify's Sniper costs $25 a week for up to 500 applications, and your first 25 applications are free.
Is AIApply legit?
AIApply is a real product that submits real applications. It had a 4.2 TrustScore from 1,843 Trustpilot reviews and an F rating from the Better Business Bureau on September 29, 2026, and most complaints concern billing, cancellation and support.
What are the best AIApply alternatives?
Scoutify's Sniper is the best alternative if you want to apply to new jobs minutes after they post on employer career sites.
