Senior Technical Manager

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for the technical team, overseeing the design, development, and deployment of software solutions.
• Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and timelines, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers, architects, and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions using the .NET full-stack framework and Azure cloud services.
• Drive best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, documentation, and deployment automation.
• Act as a technical advisor, providing guidance and expertise on software architecture, design patterns, and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and operations, to deliver high-quality software products on time and within budget.
• Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines, and ensure adherence to project milestones and deadlines.
• Stay current with industry trends, advancements in technology, and best practices in software development, and recommend strategies for adoption.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the technical team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MS, MBA) is a plus.
• Over 20 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on the .NET full-stack framework and Azure cloud platform.
• Proven track record of managing technical teams and delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices in software development.
• Hands-on experience with a wide range of technologies, including .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, SQL Server, Azure services (e.g., Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps).
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies and familiarity with DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.
• Relevant certifications in .NET, Azure, or project management (e.g., PMP, Azure Developer Associate) are a plus.
