Lead evaluations of regulatory and policy environments in the U.S. Central region (focusing on MISO and Iowa), monitoring industry trends and tariffs to assess risks and opportunities for Google’s data center portfolio. Develop energy market solutions for Google’s supply needs in the Central U.S., designing engagement strategies before the Iowa Utilities Commission and MISO. Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Global Infrastructure, Public Policy) to develop regional energy positions, communicating our infrastructure, grid protection, and carbon-reduction goals.
Lead energy advocacy with MISO committees, trade associations, and local allies to advance Google’s clean energy, grid reliability, and interests. Drive energy supply negotiations in Iowa and the broader U.S. Central region, working closely with electric utilities.
