The Mission To support RateGain’s DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering practices by helping engineering teams build, deploy, and operate secure, reliable, and scalable applications. This role focuses on hands-on CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, automation, monitoring, and production support while continuously improving engineering processes. Key Responsibilities Support and improve CI/CD pipelines used for application build, testing, and deployment Work with engineering teams to adopt consistent DevOps practices and improve development and release workflows Assist in automating repetitive deployment and operational activities to improve engineering efficiency Maintain clear technical documentation for deployment processes, infrastructure configurations, and operational procedures Participate in sprint ceremonies and work closely with platform and application engineering teams on DevOps/SRE tasks Work with cloud infrastructure and services across major cloud platforms, with GCP preferred Support infrastructure provisioning and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and related tools Monitor production systems and support troubleshooting of deployment, performance, and reliability issues Respond to production incidents as part of defined support and escalation processes Collaborate with developers, QA, and platform teams to support reliable and efficient releases Success Metrics Successful and timely execution of application builds and deployments Reduction in deployment-related errors and recurring operational issues Improvement in CI/CD pipeline efficiency and automation coverage Growth in Infrastructure as Code adoption for assigned environments and services Enhanced monitoring and alerting coverage for supported applications and infrastructure Timely response and resolution of assigned production incidents and support requests Adherence to cloud security, access, configuration, and operational standards Increased automation of routine build, deployment, and operational activities Preferred Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field 4–5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or Production Support Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure (GCP preferred) Proficiency with CI/CD tools, automated build/deployment processes, and source control workflows Familiarity with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code and configuration automation tools Strong understanding of Linux, networking fundamentals, scripting, and production troubleshooting Exposure to monitoring, logging, and observability tools Basic understanding of cloud security, access management, disaster recovery, and infrastructure cost awareness Skills & Competencies Cloud Fundamentals CI/CD Pipeline Management Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) Scripting & Automation Monitoring & Troubleshooting Reliability & Security Engineering Technical Documentation Cross-functional Collaboration Learning Agility Problem Solving & Ownership Equal Opportunity Employer We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
