iPhone displaying Scoutify job alert notifications

Scoutify watches 50,000+ company career pages. When a new job on a Greenhouse, Workday or SmartRecruiters career site fits your roles, locations and visa needs, Sniper fills out the real application with your resume and sends it. Replies land in Scoutify Mail, and your first 25 applications are free.

[01] HOW IT WORKS

How Sniper applies to jobs for you

You set Sniper up once. After that it finds new jobs that match, fills in each employer's application and submits it for you. When you first turn it on, you can also have it apply to recent matches.

  1. 01

    Set your filters

Choose roles, years of experience, locations (remote or in person), full-time or internship, and whether you need visa sponsorship. Upload your resume. On Sniper you can upload up to 100 and it picks the best fit for each job.

  2. 02

    Scoutify spots new jobs

Scoutify watches 50,000+ company career pages and picks up new postings at the source, instead of waiting for job boards to repost them.

  3. 03

    Sniper applies for you

When a new posting passes your filters on a site Sniper supports, it opens the employer's application, fills it in with your resume and profile, and submits it, often minutes after the job went up.

  4. 04

    Replies land in Scoutify Mail

The employer's confirmation and any replies arrive in Scoutify Mail, sorted by stage. Connect Gmail or Outlook if you want applications to go out from your own address.

[02] FINDS THE JOB FIRST

An AI job application tool that finds the job first

Most AI job application tools start after you have already found the job. They write a cover letter, tailor your resume or fill in a form while you click through it, and you still have to find each posting, open it and press submit yourself.

Sniper starts one step earlier. Scoutify watches 50,000+ company career pages, so Sniper sees a new posting at the source, checks it against your roles, locations, experience and visa needs, and then fills in and submits the employer's own application on Greenhouse, Workday or SmartRecruiters. If you are looking for an AI job apply tool that handles the whole loop, from finding the job to the employer's confirmation email, that is the difference.

The finding step matters more than the writing step. A polished application sent three days after a job went up competes with everyone who applied in the first few hours, and recruiters often start with the earliest applicants and stop once they have enough to interview. Our comparison of autofill and auto-apply explains where each kind of tool fits.

[03] WHY SNIPER

Speedy, specific and safe

Plenty of tools will send hundreds of applications for you. Sniper is built to send the right ones, early, and to show you what happened to each.

SPEEDY

Applied minutes after it posted

Recruiters often read applications in the order they arrive and stop once they have enough people to interview. New jobs show up on a company's own career site before they spread to job boards, and Sniper applies from there.

SPECIFIC

Only jobs that fit you

Sniper applies only to postings that pass your filters: role, years of experience, location and job type. Turn on visa sponsorship and it skips employers with no sign of sponsoring. You can also exclude any company you want to skip.

[04] PROOF

Proof you can check: the employer's own confirmation email

Anyone can claim they applied for you. The better test is whether the employer's system says it received your application. When it does, its confirmation email lands in Scoutify Mail next to the application it belongs to, and a copy is forwarded to your personal email.

Most Sniper applications get that confirmation, usually within two minutes of submitting. Some employers never send one, so a missing confirmation doesn't always mean a failed application. In the web app you can open any application and see the resume and answers that were sent.

[05] SUPPORTED SITES

Career sites Sniper applies on

Sniper applies on company career sites built on these applicant tracking systems. Matching jobs on other sites still show up in the app, so you can apply to those yourself.

Ashby and Lever are being turned on gradually and may not be active on your account yet. Sniper does not apply through LinkedIn Easy Apply, Indeed or other job boards.

[06] COMPARED

How Sniper compares with other auto-apply tools

The four tools people most often compare with Sniper differ most on where they apply, how soon after a job posts they act and what proof you get that an application arrived. For eight tools side by side, see the best auto-apply tools compared.

Prices were checked on September 30, 2026 on each tool's pricing page, or in published reviews where a tool shows prices only after sign-up. Per-application prices assume you use the full cap, which few people do.

[07] LIMITS

What Sniper won't do

Sniper has limits. Here they are before you sign up.

  • Apply past its weekly cap

Sniper sends up to 500 applications a week, counted over a rolling seven days. That's a ceiling. How many go out depends on how many new postings on supported sites match your filters.

  • Apply on sites it doesn't support

Sniper applies on Greenhouse, Workday and SmartRecruiters career sites, with Ashby and Lever rolling out. It won't apply through LinkedIn Easy Apply, Indeed or other job boards.

  • Apply to one posting twice

Sniper sends at most one application per job posting. A role posted in three cities is three postings, so leave out the cities you don't want.

  • Know what isn't in your profile

Sniper answers from your resume and profile. For common questions your profile doesn't cover it uses standard answers, and some forms stop until you add a missing detail. You can check the answers that were sent in the web app.

  • Promise interviews

Sniper gets your application in early. It can't make an employer reply, and many applications never get one.

  • Start before you set it up

It needs your job filters, a completed apply profile and at least one resume before it sends anything.

[09] FAQ

Questions about AI auto apply

These are straight answers, limits included. If you have another question, email support@scoutify.com.

GET 25 FREE APPLICATIONS

Is there an AI that automatically applies to jobs for me?

Yes. Sniper is the AI auto apply agent in Scoutify. You set your roles, locations and visa needs once. When a new job that fits goes up on a company career site Sniper supports (Greenhouse, Workday or SmartRecruiters), it fills in the application with your resume and profile and submits it, often minutes after the job posts. Your first 25 applications are free.

How does auto apply work?

There are two kinds of tools. Autofill extensions fill in a form while you click through it, so you still find each job and press submit yourself. Auto apply agents like Sniper do all of it: they spot new postings that match your filters, open the employer's application, fill it in and submit it. Sniper reads postings straight from company career pages, so it can apply soon after a job goes up instead of waiting for it to reach a job board.

Is it okay to use AI to apply for jobs?

Yes, as long as every application is one you would stand behind. Sniper submits the same form you would fill in yourself, on the employer's own career site, with your resume and your details. Keep your filters tight so it only applies to jobs you would actually take, and exclude any company you would rather apply to by hand.

Can employers tell if you use auto apply?

Employers see a complete application on their own career site, with your resume, contact details and answers. Some employers run checks that look for bulk applications, which is one reason Sniper sends at most one application per job posting and only applies to jobs that pass your filters. If you would rather not send several applications to one company, exclude it or narrow your locations.

Is auto applying to jobs worth it?

It depends on where you point it. Hundreds of applications to jobs you don't fit rarely pay off. Speed is where auto apply helps most: recruiters often start with the earliest applicants and stop once they have enough to interview, and Sniper applies soon after a matching job posts. Keep your filters tight, then judge it on your own 25 free applications before you pay anything.

Which job sites does Sniper apply on?

Company career sites run on Greenhouse, Workday and SmartRecruiters. Ashby and Lever are being turned on gradually, so they may not be active on your account yet. Sniper does not apply through LinkedIn Easy Apply, Indeed or other job boards. Matching jobs on sites it can't use still show up in the app so you can apply yourself.

How many jobs will Sniper apply to?

Up to 500 a week, counted over a rolling seven days (Auto Apply goes up to 200). That is a ceiling, not a target. The real number depends on how many new postings on supported sites match your filters, so a narrow search sends fewer.

How much does Sniper cost?

Sniper is $25 a week. Auto Apply is $15 a week and Alerts is $5 a week. Plans are billed weekly and you can cancel anytime. Your first 25 applications are free with no card: you pick the jobs and Sniper applies to them.

Does Sniper use my own resume?

Yes. Sniper applies with the resumes you upload and the details in your profile. You can upload up to 100 resumes and it picks the best fit for each job (Auto Apply uses one). In the web app you can open any application to see the resume and the answers that were sent.

Where do employer replies go?

To Scoutify Mail, which sorts them by stage: action needed, screener, interviewing, offer and rejected. Replies are forwarded to your personal email as well. You can also connect Gmail or Outlook so your applications go out from your own address.

Can Sniper apply to jobs that sponsor visas?

Yes. Turn on the visa sponsorship filter and Sniper only applies where there is evidence the employer sponsors: the company's H-1B record in USCIS data, or a posting that says it sponsors. Postings that say they don't sponsor are skipped. Sponsorship plans can change, so confirm with the recruiter early.

What job app automatically applies you to jobs?

Scoutify's Sniper automatically applies you to jobs. It watches 50,000+ company career pages, and when a new job that fits your filters posts on a Greenhouse, Workday or SmartRecruiters career site, it fills in the employer's application with your resume and submits it, often minutes after the job goes up. Other apps that submit applications for you include AIApply and LazyApply, which apply through job boards such as LinkedIn and Indeed, and JobCopilot, which applies in daily batches. Your first 25 Sniper applications are free.

Is there a free way to auto apply to jobs?

Yes. Scoutify gives you 25 free Sniper applications with no card: you pick the jobs and Sniper applies to them. After that, Sniper costs $25 a week for up to 500 applications and Auto Apply costs $15 a week for up to 200. Free autofill extensions such as Simplify fill in forms for you, but you still find each job and press submit yourself.

Does Sniper apply through my LinkedIn account?

No. Sniper applies directly on employer career sites and never logs in to your LinkedIn account, never uses Easy Apply and never submits anything on linkedin.com. If you share your LinkedIn profile URL when you sign up, Scoutify reads that public profile to prefill your applicant profile, and Sniper types the URL into the LinkedIn field that many application forms ask for.

How do I know an auto-apply tool is legit?

Check four things before you pay: where the tool applies (the employer's career site or your job board account), whether you can read exactly what it sent, whether it prevents duplicate applications, and whether you get proof such as the employer's own confirmation email. Recent reviews about billing and refunds are worth reading too. Sniper sends one application per posting, shows you the resume and answers it sent, and most of its applications get the employer's confirmation email in Scoutify Mail. Our guide to whether auto-apply works covers what results to expect.

Will Sniper apply to the same job twice?

No. Sniper sends at most one application per job posting, and Scoutify skips reposts of an opening you have already applied to. Separate postings for the same role, such as one role listed in two cities, count as different jobs, so leave out cities you don't want.

Let Sniper get your next application in first.

Set your filters, pick the jobs for your 25 free applications and see what Sniper sends. After that it's $25 a week, and you can cancel anytime.
